The target audience of my media Plmanor newspaper is aimed at both the students and the parents; I used less text and more pictures to attract the reader’s attention. I think this media product is suitable for my target audience as it has a consistent layout but is bold so will interest the reader.

I used the font Accent SF which I found to be the most picked option in my survey for the sub headings as it made the topics pop out catching the reader’s attention. It is also a bold font which I found less time consuming as I did not have to personalizing the font myself by using the bold and italics button.

The colours I used are blue, purple and white which are not gender limited and suitable for my target audience. The colour scheme I used is professional which appeals to the target audience who are the parents. The background colour is simple which brings the reader’s attention to the text and pictures.

The camera shot I used was a close up shot which allows readers to see the logo and the school name in the front of the school. I used this to show the entrance of the sixth form building instead of typing the details which is a visual view.

I used a camera shot which is a wide shot to capture the whole classroom showing the reader the lessons of sixth form.

I included pictures of the school logo and its sponsors

The camera shot I used was a low shot which captures he whole of the lerner building. I increased the picture size to make it the centre of attraction as it showcases the school to the reader.

I put the masthead in the middle of the front page and used a Cambria font and 48 pt for the title. This is effective as it makes the title look more professional and is eye-catching to the reader; it is also clear to see.
