The masterhead also goes with the theme of the magazine this is because the style of the font creates an image of smashed glass making people picture rock stars smashing there guitar making the masterhead go with the theme of the magazine.

Main PicturesThe main image is of the band member from green day is bold and dark, creating an image of something mysterious dark going well with the colour scheme of the magazine. Which are mainly dark bold colours black, grey and white.

Plug/ headerIn the header/ plug I can see that they are trying to advertise the band. The header has been highlighted with a green shade making the text standout and be eye catching

Layout In the layout of this magazine, the band member of green day head is covering part of the title, however because of the bold noticeable magazine it doesn’t make a differences of the magazine, as it is widely noticeable because of the style of the magazine. Also the way that the image has been placed you can see the whole guitar. Around the whole front cover of the magazine you can see small headlines talking about the green day tour and other artists.

Bar codeThe bar code is used so that the owners of the magazine could keep track of the product, and how many people bought it. The bar code is also place in the corner of the magazine, it isn’t that big so wouldn’t draw the audience to look at that instead of the magazine.

PictureThis picture is used because it matches the main colours used in the magazine, it also advertises the audience of the magazine to win prices. The border used in the picture with the bold yellow colour makes the picture standout more, making it more appealing to the audience.
