MedComDepot is comprised of two individuals with broad scientific backgrounds and 20+ years of medical writing experience. We possess a working knowledge of the drug development process and excellent writing and communication skills coupled with innovative thinking, resourceful execution, and project management ability.

Phil Vinall is a writer, teacher, and scientist who has conducted research in the area of stroke and ischemia and has written extensively on the subjects of digestive diseases, rheumatology, cardiology, orthopedics, depression, and Alzheimer’s disease. Phil, along with his wife, manages Medical Communications Depot, Inc., an international medical communication company.

Maria Vinall is a medical writer and project manger who has worked across a number of disciplines. She has assisted Harvard Law professors in the conduct of empirical studies the results of which contributed to significant changes to current bankruptcy legislation. She has worked for Wyeth Research as a project manager and publications planner and assisted physicians and preclinical scientists in the preparation of numerous peer-reviewed publications. Together with her husband, she manages Medical Communications Depot Inc.

Although we have expertise in a number of medical specialties (i.e., Neuroscience, Cardiology, Immunology, and Oncology), our command of the general principles, concepts, and language underlying clinical medicine and medical writing is our most important asset. Our ability to analyze information from the primary literature, formulate supportable conclusions, cogently summarize clinical study results, then select and organize pertinent information for incorporation into an original, dynamic, and rigorously up-to-date document sets us apart from other writing groups.

Conference Coverage Medical conference coverage requires both knowledge of the therapeutic area being covered and the ability to synthesize the key points from several individual sessions into a coherent and clinically useful report.
