Orrcon Steel’s MECSPEC-GAL® presents a high quality galvanised steel solution. Shorter production lead times are achieved because manufacturing is at our South Australian Precision Manufacturing Mill using BlueScope steel.

Finished tube properties achieve 350 MPa yield strength for Extra Light and Light, 250 MPa yield strength for Medium. MECSPEC-GAL® provides guaranteed ductility for mechanical manipulation and end-use.

The BlueScope coil used in Orrcon Steel’s MECSPEC-GAL® Pipe is hot dipped zinc coated with a spangled surface. The combined coating thickness of both sides is 275g/m2.
