5/13 Measuring Guide for Scarves Tools and Tips • Steel tape measure — do not use cloth tape • Pencil • Round measurements to the nearest 1/8" 1/8" 1/4" 3/8" 1/2" 5/8" 3/4" 7/8" Measure width of window, plus the amount the scarf is to extend to the wall. Measure the distance you want the scarf to drop down on the left and right sides. Add these figures together to get the approximate scarf length (round up to the nearest full inch).
