As part of acquiring the 2014 ONC Certified gloEMR, gloEMR, there are several separate

pieces that must be purchased and maintained by the EP’s practice organization:

a. gloEMR application – one-time cost and monthly fee per provider OR gloComplete package [Revenue Cycle Management] with monthly fee as percent of practice revenue; b. gloPatientPortal – patient-facing web portal - upfront cost and monthly per provider fee OR Medfusion Patient Portal -patient-facing web portal -upfront cost and monthly provider fee; c. gloDirect – DIRECT messaging function – upfront cost and monthly per provider fee; d. Immunization Registry Interface – upfront cost and monthly per provider fee.

If Needed: a. Syndromic Surveillance Registry Interface – one-time cost and monthly per provider fee; b. Specialized Registry Interface – one-time cost and monthly per provider fee. Special: a. Lab Interface – not required but can enhance practice performance - one-time cost and monthly per provider fee; b. Emdeon Lab Interface – not required but recommended, can enhance practice performance - one-time cost and monthly per provider fee.

New versions of gloSuite will be available to all current gloSuite customers as a no-charge update.

gloSuite is a package offering consisting of EHR, and gloPortal, and is available to new customers either

through a one-time license fee, to include implementation service fees, and ongoing annual

maintenance and support, or in a hosted model with an upfront implementation fee and ongoing


monthly hosted service fees. Incremental costs that an eligible provider would pay to implement

gloSuite in order to meet meaningful use objectives and measures may include:

One-time costs to establish interfaces for outgoing lab orders, inbound lab results, HIEs, registries, and public health agencies (170.314.b.5, 170.314.f.1, 170.314.f.2, 170.314.f.3)

Ongoing costs either on a per transaction or per provider per month basis for electronic prescribing, outgoing lab orders, and inbound lab results (170.314.a.2, 170.314.a.10, 170.314.b.3, 170.314.b.5)

Ongoing monthly costs to support online patient portal, secure direct messaging, and interfaces for HIEs, registries, and public health agencies (170.314.b.1, 170.314.b.2, 170.314.e.1, 170.314.e.3, 170.314.f.1, 170.314.f.2, 170.314.f.2, 170.314.f.3)
