Meet Richard and Carly Flecknoe, owners of Harvest Halls Gap. The cafe, restaurant, provedore and accommodation provider opened in November 2015, employing eight staff and providing delicious meals made from local produce, fantastic coffee and warm service. The Flecknoes are passionate about promoting and introducing customers to the amazing produce available in the Grampians and pride themselves on serving each dish in a way which enables the local ingredients to shine. Richard and Carly consider one of their biggest achievements to date being the opportunity to host a number of small, boutique weddings at Harvest, as they believe there is something very special about being a part of such an important day for couples. The business has also received a number of great reviews on Facebook praising their level of service, the location and plans to return to Harvest in the future. The cafe contributes to their local community by employing locals and actively working on initiatives to reduce their environmental footprint. The Flecknoes believe that the best thing about doing business in the Northern Grampians Shire is the potential for growth in the region, with the increase in tourist numbers and planned upgrades to the Western Highway.
