“The Internet Hate Us!”
Find Out How The Band Reacted To MCRX Backlash
21 22
On July 20th 2016…the world went mad as My Chemical Romance released a teaser video with a new logo, a then unknown song and the date ‘9/23/16’.
But many were crushed when Gerard Way, lead vocals, announced on twitter that the surprise wasn’t the reunion tour the world was hoping for, but simply a re-release of the bands most popular album Black Parade for its 10th anniversary.

The Re-Release Will Include…
all of the original tracks from the Black Parade album, including classics like Teenagers and Mama. But will also include 11 mixes and live demos of tracks that didn’t make it onto the original album, this includes their song The Five Of Us Are Dying that they released on YouTube on August 3rd.
The original album reached #2 on both the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. The hopes of this magazine, and no doubt the world, is that with this new album they will beat that record.
Various Artists Have Paid Homage To The
Album By…Covering the original songs with their own personal twist. The most popular of these has to be Twenty One Pilots’ cover of Cancer, in which they made lead singer Tyler Josephs favourite lyric ‘I will not kiss you’ into a makeshift chorus. Other honourable mentions are Escape The Fate’s cover of Dead! and Crown The Empire’s cover of the famous Welcome To The Black Parade.
