MCD Public Health’s CHW Online Training Program is intended for community health workers and other individuals who assist clients in the prevention, management, and self-management of chronic conditions, such as cancer, high blood pressure, prediabetes, diabetes, and asthma. This program complements CHW core competency training by providing individuals with added education, skill building and access to resources.

MCD Public Health’s CHW Online Training Program

The New Mexico Department of Health is pleased to announce a training opportunity for community health workers on chronic diseases. The training modules, developed by MCD Public Health CHW Online Training include topics such as Chronic Conditions Overview, Hypertension, Prediabetes, Diabetes, Asthma, Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer, and Colorectal Cancer. The registration fee is waived for all New Mexico-based users who enroll, courtesy of the NMDOH.

sent to the email address you entered on the registration page. Check your email to retrieve your username and

password.
