National Center for Veteran Institute for Procurement

In 2008, on the 50th Anniversary of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, the Montgomery County Chamber Community Foundation (MCCCF) was launched as an independent 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation is proud to support educational initiatives to enhance our community and beyond.


MCCCF created and manages The National Center for Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) - the country’s first-ever program to train veteran service-disabled and veteran owned small businesses to succeed in the federal contracting market. Today, it is a true public private partnership with support from Montgomery County, the State of Maryland and U.S. Small Business Administration to supplement private sector contributions.

The National Center for Veteran Institute for Procurement Offers:• 3-day, 27-hour, educational training programs for owners, principals

and C-level executives of veteran-owned businesses nationwide• Curriculum is designed to increase the ability to win government

contracts by establishing best business practices• Instructed by industry experts and government officials• Offered at no cost to participants
