Project Status: Charloe-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and engineering consultant, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc., have finalized the construcon plans and begun the bid phase. During this phase, the final design plans will be circulated to qualified contractors for a compeve bidding process. Next Steps: Aſter City Council approval, the construcon contract is awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Construcon is esmated to begin in late spring or early summer 2016. Invesng in infrastructure protects public safety, guards private property, improves water quality and enhances quality of life. The McAlway/Churchill Storm Drainage Improvement Project goal is to reduce flooding of streets and structures throughout the neighborhood.
