He leads the GNAC in scoring and three-point percentage (.632). DOUBLE KIND OF WEEK Andy Avgi’s pair of 27-point games was not the only double-type performance last week. Senior guard Devon Alexander posed his second double-double of the season aſter posting 19 points and 11 rebounds against Montana State Billings. Alexander has the other WOU double-double with a 12-point, 10-rebound game against Warner Pacific on Nov. 21. ABOUT THE WARRIORS Under fiſth-year head coach Steve Matsen, Corban opened the season with a 5-3 re- cord, including a 1-1 mark during the opening weekend of CCC league play. rough the Warriors’ first eight games, sophomore guard A.J. LAST WEEKThe Wolves won both games last week in GNAC play to extend their season-opening winning streak to eight games. Behind 20-point efforts from Andy Avgi (27) and Jor-dan Wiley (21), Western Oregon soundly defeated Concordia on Dec. 1, 91-59.
