    practice Defining the scope of work: negotiating with clients to agree the

    scope of work Planning work, resources and budget: students had to price their

    work in advance making critical decisions such as mechanical assistance versus manual labour

    Agree programme: a critical path programme from each team

    and the monitoring of performance against it. Monitor costs and programme: management, leadership and the

    time/cost relationship. Sustainability: respect for the environment and materials used.
