MBA Preparatory Program The MBA Preparatory Program (MBA Prep) is designed for international students who wish to prepare for admission into the MBA degree program and study at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). Students will acquire English competency, improve qualifications for admission and develop academic skills essential for their success at CSUSB’s internationally ranked, MBA program. The campus has six colleges, over 75 undergraduate and graduate programs and enrolls more than 18,000 students. Accreditation and Ranking CSUSB’s MBA program is fully accredited by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As of April 2009, less than 5% of the world’s business schools have achieved this accreditation. Ranked among: Top 18 regional public universities in the Western USA (US News and World Report, 2014) Top 20 MBA Programs Globally (CEO Magazine, 2014) Top 5 Innovative Business Schools in the US (European CEO Magazine, 2010) The MBA Prep has three main areas of focus: English Language Skills: Students are guided to successfully complete level 6 of the CSUSB English Language Program (ELP) which is required as a TOEFL waiver for the MBA program. GMAT Preparation: This portion of the program equips students with the skills needed to improve their GMAT scores, which is one of the admission requirements. Academic Skills: The program will also focus on increasing students’ academic skills. Qualified students will have the option to take MBA courses while enrolled in the MBA Prep Program and can earn a maximum of 8 academic units (2 courses) towards their MBA degree. About Our LocationSan Bernardino is located in Southern California approximately 60 miles (96km) east of Los Angeles. The campus is at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains. Students can enjoy leisure time at the beautiful lakes, or participate in winter sports such as skiing, ice skating, and snowboarding. Program StructureModule 1This module consists of 3 terms and is for students who are placed into the ELP level 5 or have received a TOEFL score of 475 (iBT 53 or IELTS 5) or above. In term 1, you take ELP level 5 classes, GMAT Prep course and MBA prerequisite. In term 2, you take ELP level 6 classes, GMAT Prep course and another MBA prerequisite. In the third and � nal term, you will take two MBA courses.

Module 2This module consists of 3 terms and is for students who are placed into the ELP level 4 or have received a TOEFL score of 450 (iBT 45 or IELTS 4.5) or above. In term 1, you take ELP level 4 classes and a GMAT Prep course. In term 2, you take ELP level 5 classes and a GMAT Prep course. In the third and � nal term, you will take ELP level 6 classes and two MBA prerequisite courses.

Module 3This module consists of 4 terms and is for students who are placed into the ELP level 3 or have received a TOEFL score of 430 (iBT 40 or IELTS 4). In term 1, you take ELP level 3 classes. In term 2, you take ELP level 4 classes and a GMAT Prep course. In term 3, you take ELP level 5 classes and a GMAT Prep course. In the fourth and � nal term, you will take ELP level 6 classes and two MBA prerequisite courses. (Additional fee for ELP level 3 required).

Admission RequirementsTo enroll in the MBA Preparatory Program, a student must meet the following requirements

� English Pro� ciency : CSUSB ELP Level 3 or TOEFL 430 (iBT 40 or IELTS 4). A placement exam is available to assess student’s English pro� ciency

� GPA requirement: Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher based on the last 90 quarter units or last 60 semester units

� Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

� $200 application fee: credit card, check or money order (Payable to CSUSB)

� Bank/� nancial statement: $31,000 minimum

� O� cial transcripts sealed in an envelope by school

� O� cial diploma sealed in an envelope by school
