The MBA and MCA programmes of the Institute are structured on the scheme and syllabus of the University of Madras. The Institute is located on a 12 acre campus at Jaladampet, on Velachery Tambaram Road, which is nearly 10 K.M from Saidapet. The Campus is beautifully laid out and developed with landscaped gardens and excellent facilities for sports and games. A large impressive Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000 is available in the Campus.

The Institute has a spacious and impressive building ( nearly 45,000 sq.ft. ) with several well laid out Class Rooms, Syndicate Rooms, Conference Hall, Library and Laboratory facilities.

The Institute has a spacious Library with an excellent selection of latest books, magazines, journals and periodicals, both Indian and Foreign, on management and information technology.

A modern audio - visual lab with state of the art facilities like LCD Projector, OHP, Slide projectors, CTV & VCR has been setup. A large collection of management and IT films and CDs are also available.

Separate Computer Labs for MBA and MCA Courses are available to meet the present and future needs. The labs are well-equiped with the latest pentium based multimedia systems with networking. The students are provided extensive hands-on-experience using application software such as MS Visual Studio 6.0, Macromedia Web Studio, Developer 2000, SPSS 11.0, Oracle 8i and other packages. The labs are internet enabled with high speed Broadband connection

Large spacious hostels are available for boys and girls within the campus. A modern canteen is also available especially for the benefit of the dayscholars. Wholesome food - veg & non-veg - is served in the hostel and the canteen.

Placement Process

Today's corporate needs problem solvers, decision makers smart-skilled

and soft-skilled consultants who are flexible, interactive and proactive. The

managers who can adapt to the ever-changing competitive environment are the

expectation of the industry at present.

Keeping the needs and expectations of the industry and the talents and

aspirations of the future managers in mind, the placement cell trains the

students in aptitude, soft skills and personality development to provide well-

trained human resources to the industry.

The placement cell consists of a Placement Officer / Co-ordinator and the

student representatives who act under the supervision and guidance of

placement advisor, Dean and the Principal / Director of AMIMA.

The placement cell aims at placing the students in various national and

international organizations and works full-fledged to conduct placement

programs periodically. Hence, the placement cell takes this as an opportunity to

invite the organizations to visit our campus for campus interview.

We invite the companies for pre-placement talk on the pre-approved dates,

assist them in the placement procedures during the sessions on GD, interview

and other tests by providing the infra-structure and facilities. In case a joint

campus interview is suggested, we shall consider it an honor and privilege to

conduct it at our campus as well ready to send our students to other colleges

recommended by the organizations.
