Pedofiel 21 jaar tronk toe
Hy sal dus effektiewelik 21 jaar tronkstraf uitdien.

Cons Murch shut downCONS Murch has been shut down, pending liquidation. Shareholders of Village Main Reef are advised that the business rescue practitioner of Cons Murch applied to Court in terms of section 141(2)(a)(i) of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008) as amended (“the Companies Act”), to discontinue the business rescue proceedings of Cons Murch and place Cons Murch in provisional liquidation. The effective date of the provisional liquidation is 5 February 2015. The board of directors of Cons Murch, an antimony and gold mine at Gravelotte in Limpopo, placed the company under business rescue in terms of Section 129 of the Companies Act on 15 December 2014 after a transaction to sell the company lapsed.
Village Main Reef had been involved in negotiations to sell the shares in Cons Murch to Australian junior Stibium Mining. Stibium agreed in May to buy Cons Murch for US$15m in addition to which it would provide a loan of up to $10m to recapitalize the operation.
Stibium also agreed to fund the fi rst $2m of any shortfall in the company’s rehabilitation liabilities. However, the negotiated transaction to sell the shares lapsed in December 2014 when Stibium was unable to obtain funding. As communicated
at the time to creditors, employees and trade unions, the business rescue practitioner endeavoured to secure post commencement funding and a buyer for the mine.
After seven weeks of business rescue proceedings, the business rescue practitioner determined that there was no reasonable prospect for the company to be rescued by way of said proceedings.
The decision was taken to move to provisional liquidation.
An order was applied for to the High Court of South Africa for business rescue proceedings to be discontinued and for the placing of the company into provisional liquidation. Clifford Maredi has been appointed by the Master of the High Court as a provisional liquidator. Further liquidators will be appointed by the Master of the High Court. Once liquidators have been appointed, they will liaise with all creditors and employees and act in terms of the provisions of all applicable legislation.
Placing Cons Murch in provisional liquidation will allow the retention of the mining rights owned by the company.
It will also allow the liquidators an opportunity to ensure the safety of the essential services employees and the security of company assets.
Ten years for raping elderly womanA MAN who raped an elderly person last year in January was sentenced to ten years imprisonment when he appeared in Naphuno Regional Court last Thursday.
According to Hoedspruit Police spokesperson Constable Livhuwani Mulaudzi, the convict, Adolph Shai (24) was found guilty of raping a 54-year-old woman who was asleep when she was attacked at her home in Molalane Village.
‘The victim was asleep and she woke up to
fi nd a man raping her. She reported the case to the police
and the suspect was arrested following investigations,’ said Mulaudzi.
The police would like to applaud the courage of the victim shown throughout the case.
Mulaudzi said that the victim reported the case without waiting after the incident and this has helped in collecting evidence that later helped convict Shai.
Suspected poacher arrested
APPREHENDED: Would be poacher arrested a er a p of; Muzi Mandonsela taken to the holding cells in Acornhoek by Warrant Offi cer Thembe Thwala.
A MAN found in possession of a rifl e and ammunition appeared in Acornhoek Magistrate Court on Tuesday.
According to Acornhoek police spokesperson Lieutenant Mpho Nonyane, the suspect was arrested on Monday after the police received a tip off about a possible poacher who was in Mega City.
‘The police followed up on the tip and they found the suspect who took them to his home where police managed to fi nd a rifl e, rifl e silencer, ammunition, hand cuffs, bullet proof vest and one police ceremonial jacket,’ said Nonyane.
The suspect, Muzi Mandonsela was remanded into custody and the case is postponed for further investigations. The police are still searching for his accomplice who is believed to be involved in the same crime.

No sign of protesting on R40MOTORISTS can now breathe a sigh of relief as the local police are keeping an eye over the Bushbuckridge R40 road after community members blocked it off several times during the previous weeks.
According to Bushbuckridge police spokesperson Lieutenant Ndlovukazi Mashele, the road protest was halted and the police are on standby to make sure that the road barricading doesn’t occur again.
‘On Tuesday morning police spotted some community members who gathered near the road but no violence or obstruction was reported,’ said Mashele.
The protests were sparked by the lack of tar roads from Ramalema Village to Zanthia village. The community members accused the government of misusing more than R100 million, funds that were allocated to lay the tar road and the bridge in the area.

One victim was con out of R6000 and yet another one paid R3500 for the said interview.

Maruleng first annual Marula festivalMARULENG municipality held a successful fi rst annual ‘Go Loma Morula’ last Saturday at The Willows Stadium.
People showed up in numbers with the excitement of getting a sip of their favourite traditional marula beer which was served free of charge during the event. Maruleng municipality considered it fi t to organise an offi cial ceremony that marks the importance of marula in the lives of people who live in the area where they have been blessed with a lot of marula trees.
Go Loma Morula is a build up event that will continue during the celebration of marula festival that will take place in Phalaborwa later this month. Local leaders and traditional leaders also had their fi rst taste of marula ritual which took place in a
kraal that was made inside the stadium for the ritual purpose.
The marula tree is used in many ways, for instance: to make oil, Marula nuts, jam, beer and its bark is used for medicinal purposes. ‘The name Maruleng is a Northern Sotho word which is derived from marula, which is indigenous in Limpopo and are found in abundance in Maruleng area,’ said Maruleng Municipal spokesperson John Seokoma.

HOEDSPRUIT HERALD Friday February 13, 2015 5OPINION
Of liewer julle ouens wat munisipale krag kry weet.
Wat maak dit saak of my krag ook af is?
Send us your special moments, a birthday celebra on, a cute photo at a social event anything worth sharing with the community. Send it to: [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject line pic of the week.

Spirit building concert at Lowveld AcademyMORE than 60 new students became part of Lowveld Academy at the start of the 2015 school year and were welcomed enthusiastically by the pioneers from 2014.NO hazing or “doop” is practised at LA but orientation activities took place during the fi rst three school days.
Newbie’s and oldies alike were divided into three houses, Acacia, Baobab and Marula competed in spirit building event.
Each group was tasked with performing three songs a capella, viz. an oldie, a gospel song and something modern. With only three days to prepare, everyone pitched in and devised and practised their items. Ms Maureen Lahoud praised everyone’s efforts as she judged their performances in the White Rhino Hall.
The LA GPS, a booklet which serves as the guide to life at Lowveld Academy, was studied by all students and a quiz was written on Friday before the concert. Most students handled this competently but a few surprisingly creative answers also emerged!
One of the highlights of the orientation was a walk from the LA campus to the AFB Hoedspruit sports complex. The group started walking at 0900 and despite the heat; all made it to the reward of a cooling swim. A fun fruit-festival was the reward courtesy of Bavaria and Lowveld Citrus, replenishing some of the expended energy.
Each activity carried a point-value and the team who scored the best overall, was Acacia congratulation to them and their teacher, Ms Sune Muller.
Concert- GEAT FUN: Lowveld Academy learners had lots of fun during the spirit building concert.
