Featuring limited edition prints in vibrant hues inspired by the local marketplace and gorgeous tie dyed prints inspired by Lake Malawi. Mayamiko Trust, a UK registered charity and member of the Ethical Fashion Forum’s ‘Fellowship 500’, is working to help people lift themselves out of poverty through skills training, education, nutrition, sanitation and fairer trade practices. Mayamiko Trust follows an innovative approach to aid - as opposed to sending money to Africa, they support communities by training and trade, helping people to lift themselves out of poverty by means of sustainable activities. Mayamiko continues to generate a positive impact in the industry, producing forward thinking ethical fashion and creating sustainable employment. Currently working with disadvantaged women on the Mayamiko Cotton Project in Malawi, the project provides training in sewing and tailoring to local women affected by the HIV pandemic or carers of HIV orphans. They are working towards a recognised quali!cation which will give them the opportunity to earn a living and a reliable income for themselves and their families. The project has already trained groups of women in the different textile processes: weaving or knitting, cutting, sewing, tailoring, all the way through the !nished garments, some of which have been featured on Vogue, Grazia, Cosmopolitan and The Guardian. The UK is currently experiencing a surge in the interest and development of ethical production solutions. By providing UK consumers with the choice to buy ethical goods and by offering designers the option of small ethical production runs, Mayamiko is working towards promoting growth and development of the ethical fashion industry within the UK.

Mayamiko is planning to build a new sustainable skills and production centre and we need your help. Help Mayamiko realise the dream of building a brighter future for our trainees and the local community in Lilongwe, Malawi by buying bricks for our project. At the moment our trainees and tailors learn and work outdoors, with your help we can provide shelter and improved working conditions. You can help in a variety of ways: •  Donate a brick for every sale made •  Promote Bricks of Hope to your customers •  Give your customer the option of donating bricks when
