Military Picnic

The Military picnic is this Sunday. All military, former military, and widows/widowers of military are invited. We are asking that each attendee or family register. You may register on line at www.lbcmin.com You may also register at the event center, or by calling Katie Day at 826-2110 Ext. 313.

Opportunity

We have been asked by Mallory elementary school to place a booth at their upcoming “Closing Event” June 12th from 12-2PM.

MISSIONS UPDATE MAY 2010

NW Africa Trip We are now taking applications for the NW Africa Mission Trip. This is something you do not want to miss. If you feel God leading you to join a trip please check the web site at www.lbcmin.com or call the missions office at 826-2110 Ext. 313.

Mission Daystar There is an opportunity to participate in a local

community project. Daystar is in need of people who will help out the first 3 Saturdays in June .

If you or your ABF class is interested in helping

please let us know. Other churches on the Peninsula are welcome to participate in this

outreach. For more info. please call Carolyn at

ABF Missions Leader A few weeks ago I was privileged to speak to all of our ABF (Sunday School and small group) teachers.

The topic was the development of a new missions position in each class. The purpose would be to

inform the class of all mission/ministry projects our church is doing. The hope is that our classes will

engage in several projects a year. If you are interested
