Cedar Point Read and Swim Ministry
The Greystone Missions Team would like to make you aware of summer reading program that needs volunteers. Cedar Point Apartments are home to a significant immigrant and refugee community. There is an opportunity to work in a summer literacy program for the children there. Beginning June 15 students will be able to read with volunteers. If they read at least twice weekly they “earn” the opportunity to swim at the New Life Camp pool on Thursday evenings. Volunteers are needed to read with the children as well as additional ministry opportunities. If you are interested there is an information session on June 4 from 7-8 pm at the apartment complex’s community center. Contact a member of the Missions Team if you would like more information.
Flower Calendar 2015
There are still dates available to sign up to place flowers in the sanctuary for worship in 2015. Please check the calendar located outside the church office for all available dates and sign up next to the one you want.
The Flowers of Blessing team needs medium size vases (wide mouth) for their flower deliveries. Please bring donated vases to the church office Monday through Thursday during normal church hours. Thank you.
Welcome Home Project #2
In partnership with the Wyatt Ministries and the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants the Greystone Missions Team is pleased to announce Welcome Home Project #2. We anticipate a target date for a new family move in sometime during the month of June 2015. A list of items needed are posted on Sign Up Genius for your review and to sign up. To sign up to donate items please go to this link or type into your internet browser:

One we have dates for the actual move in, we will post slots for volunteer support for setting up the apartment.
Thanks. Greystone Missions Team
