My Dear People,
The Sunday after Pentecost is the Feast of the
Most Holy Trinity. We have now completed the
Lenten Season and after the resurrection of Jesus, we
have completed the forty days that Jesus was on the
earth before he went to the Father.
Ten days after He sent the Holy Spirit
to the apostles (this happened on Pen-
tecost Sunday), St. Patrick is depicted
with the shamrock. He used that as to
explain to the native people of Ireland
the mystery of the trinity. Each of the
leaves are individual but together they
form a unity. Each of the persons of
the trinity are individual persons, but
together they form one unit.
The Feast of the Blessed
Trinity enables us to celebrate all
three persons of the Blessed Trinity:
The Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit. Why is this feast important? If
we are bound for Heaven, where we
will be in the presence of the Blessed
Trinity, then it behooves us to celebrate a particular
feast for the three persons. Each of the three persons
of the Blessed Trinity lives in the Divine Will. This
means each person does the will of the other totally
and completely. When Jesus was on the earth he said
that he did the will of the Father in everything. The
Father told him what to say and how to say it. This
was so much so that if the Father would have come to
the earth, He would have behaved exactly how Jesus
behaved. Jesus mentioned to the apostles. “Do you
not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is
in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak
on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his
works” (John 14:10). We have now
received the Holy Spirit, and the Holy
Spirit follows the will of both the
Father and the Son, so that whoever
follows the Holy Spirit follows Jesus.
The three persons of the Blessed Trin-
ity are one. They are totally giving to
each other, so that the only thing left
of them is their own identity.
Through our human and limited way
we are called to imitate the three
Persons of the Blessed Trinity. Jesus
said: “Whoever has my command-
ments and observes them is the one
who loves me. And whoever loves me
will be loved by my Father, and I will
love him and reveal myself to
him.” (John 14:21). The best way for
us to live in the Divine Will is to obey Jesus’
commandments. By obeying the Commandments we
show that we love God.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Vincent Clemente

1. While refugees here five years
or less have a median household income of $22,000, that figure
more than triples in the following
decades, growing far faster than
other foreign-born groups. By the time a refugee has been in the
U.S. at least 25 years, their
median household income reaches
$67,000-a full $14,000 more than the median U.S. income.

of Refugees?
2. Refugees find work in the U.S.
far earlier than in other countries
and start businesses at an even quicker pace than the American-
born. Google co-founder Sergey

refugee. The father of Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, was a Syrian
refugee.

Jesús no duda.
— Fr. Vincent Caviedes
