PreparationTrim the Cream printed cutaparts into sections as indicated by the artwork and cutting guidelines. Sort each cutapart into three different piles, one for each corresponding set of cards. Punch 1” and 21/2” circles from the cutaparts where indicated. If a punch, circle cutter, or die cut is not available, cut along the guideline with scissors and ink or distress the edges to disguise imperfections.

Scoring and folding information is listed within the instructions for each card set. The “bump” of the score goes on the inside of the fold.

If you do not have an item to complete the card as shown, simply omit or substitute the item.

Inside: “Thinking of you today made me smile.”

Set A: 41/4x51/2 Stone Cards with 4x51/4 and 4x21/2” Dk. Purple PanelsScore each 41/4x11” Stone card base horizontally at 23/4 and 51/2”. Fold the card in half; fold back on the 23/4” fold to create a “z” shape.Trim each 4x73/4” Dk. Purple panel horizontally at 51/4” to make one 4x51/4” and one 4x21/2” panel.

Assembly steps for all cards:1. Attach the 1” circle 1/2” from the top edge of a vertical 4x51/4” Dk. Purple panel with a mini brad from your stash. (If you do not have a brad, simply apply adhesive to the top half of the circle.) Nest the panel onto the inside of the Stone card base.

2. Wrap fiber around the bottom of three 21/2x4” Dk. Purple panels and adhere to the front flap of the Stone card. Add a knotted piece of canvas ribbon to the fourth panel.

3. Adhere the cutapart sentiment to the front flap of the card, about 3/4” from the bottom edge. Use caution when applying adhesive.

4. Place the corresponding sentiment in the inside of each card.

Inside: “Eat cake. Stay up an hour later tonight.”

Set B: 5x7” Lavender Gate Fold Cards with (2) 23/4x63/4” Stone PanelsScore and fold each 7x11” Lavender card base horizontally at 3 and 8”. Fold inward on each score flap to create a gate fold.Trim each 51/2x63/4” Stone panel vertically at 23/4” to make two 23/4x63/4” panels.

Inside: “Eat cake. Stay up an hour later tonight.”

Notes for all cards: Nest a 23/4x63/4” Stone panel onto the center of each Lavender card flap. Wrap the narrow cutapart strip around the card so the seam meets at the center. Secure the ends to create a “belly band.” Center a purple doily behind the band. Apply adhesive to the 21/2” circular cutapart and center onto the doily, sandwiching the band between the doily and the cutapart to cover the seam. Adhere the corresponding sentiment to the inside of the Lavender card.

Instructions for remnants: Apply Bookbinding Glue to small areas

of the lavender wreath and adhere remnants cut from the sprigs in

Card Set C with tweezers.



Set C: 41/2x61/4” Green Cards with 41/4x6 and 23/4x6” Dk. Purple Panels and 31/2x41/2” Green PanelsScore each 61/4x71/2” Green card base horizontally at 41/2”. Fold along the score to create a narrow flap on the front of the card.Score each 31/2x41/2” Green panel horizontally at 31/2”. Fold along the score to create a 1” tab.Trim each 6x7” Dk. Purple panel horizontally at 41/4 to make one 41/4x6 and one 23/4x6” panel.

Notes for all cards in this set: Distress the outside edges of the square sentiment and center onto the 31/2” area of the Green panel. Adhere the 1” flap of the Green panel behind the lower right edge of the 41/4x6” Dk. Purple panel. Nest the panel onto the inside of the Green card base. Center the 23/4x6” Dk. Purple panel onto the front flap of the card. Use scissors to trim the buds from one side of the lavender sprig, saving the remnants. Tie canvas ribbon around the stem and adhere to the card with CS® Bookbinding Glue. Add the corresponding sentiment to the inside of the card.

Inside: “It’s a hug with a fold in it.”

Instructions for remnants: Apply Bookbinding Glue

to small areas of the lavender wreath and adhere remnants cut from the sprig

with tweezers.
