ALL SQUADRON PERSONNEL ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR READING AND UNDERSTANDING THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN AND WILL ATTEND EACH EVENT UNLESS OTHERWISE DIRECTED. Parents and guardians of cadets are encouraged to read and make note of meeting dates and special announcements that may affect personal schedules. Please pick up cadets on time to respect our staff time as we cannot leave cadets behind. Cadets must follow the call-out procedures for each drill.

NLCC Recruit Cadets attending BLO will have Seabag checks on Saturday. Bring a printed copy of the seabag list from your training and all items in your seabag. This includes personal items you must purchase. Uniforms must have all alterations completed and flashes etc. appropriately sewn.

NSCC Airman Recruits attending RT will have Seabag checks on Sunday. Bring a printed copy of the seabag list from your training and all items in your seabag. This includes personal items you must purchase. Uniforms must have all alterations completed and flashes etc. appropriately sewn.

Parents /Staff OPD 101 Class – RSVP….all parents are invited to learn more about the program and volunteeropportunities. To make the most of our time it is best to take the online short course OMSG before the in person class on Saturday. Request access from LTJG Brossard at training.twincititessquadron@gmail.com. Memorial Day – we again are invited to serve at the Governors Memorial Day celebration. This is a family event and all are invited to show their patriotism. Parking and event details will follow in a separate email. Contact your DIVO by 15 May if you plan to attend. We will provide cadets for Memorial Wreath Presentations, VIP Seating, Honor Guard and Color Guard for parade along with general staff for assistance.

Standard Procedures for Every Drill

1. Cadets call your squad leader by 1900 Tuesday before drill to report; if you will not attend any period also enter a “drill absence” request on the unit website - http://www.seacadetstwincities.org/cadet-request.html

2. Proper grooming standards are required. Members will be sent home for correction before they get past the “Watch Post”.

3. SECURITY PROCEDURES AT DRILL: a. All cadets and parents must check in at the “Watch Post” with proper identification – expect bag checks.b. N2 GATE – – please arrive at the scheduled times at the Bloomington Rd automatic gate. Approach,

show ID to staff, single car access as each must show ID. Phone number will be posted for access issues. Be on time for end of drill – we must lock the building and leave the premises on time.

c. Lunch is provided by TCSPA unless POM indicates you must bring your own. Water bottle and winter gear required during winter months.

d. Parent’s w/o NSCC ID dropping off or picking up at the NOSC must have the MN enhanced driver’s license or a passport to get on base.
