Max and Jack live on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and each day travel to a new country of the world. In each country they meet a new boy or girl and their pets, which then tell them about their country and take them sightseeing.

This engaging tale of Around the World Adventures of Max and Jack will take the readers on an exciting journey they have never been on and explore places they have never visited, like France.

WHO IS EMILY F OVERTON ?I am a 28-year-old mother of my little princess Rachel, I have done a variety of different jobs only to realise that writing and illustrating are my passion.My vision since I was a young girl was that if people knew more about other people from different countries, cultures, religions and races, the world would be a better place through better understanding of one another. That is where I got the idea of creating the series Around the World Adventures of Max and Jack.

THE VISIONThe whole purpose of these books is to increase tolerance and social acceptance between children of different nations. It teaches them facts about different countries cultures so that they can learn as well as being inspired to want to know more about those who they see as different.
