Frtifem is composed of art directors & illustrators, Adrien Havet and Jessica Daubertes.

They met in Paris three years ago, where they both graduated as graphic designers.

Sharing a common interest for dark and occult imagery, they decided to create things

together under the name of Frtifem (45 in Norwegian, the street number of their studio

in Paris). What was a hobby at rst soon became their full-time profession. Their love for

thorough handcrafts led them to work with pissed-o music labels, fashion brands and

design agencies amongst others.

Tattoo culture is a major inuence in their work, their up-coming show entitled Mauvaise

Veine (Bad Vein in french) combines a mix of original drawings, illustrations, screen prints

and tattoo boards. Elements from iconic horror movies (Freaks, The Shining, The Addams

Family etc.), Ancient Greece and religious acts such as worship, are omnipresent in their

work.

For those who wish to take their art collecting to the next level, the purchase of one of

Frtifems ash tattoo designs will also entitle the buyer to having the unique design

tattooed on their skin on the opening night. A tattoo booth will be installed in the gallery,

and tattoos will be executed by Jack of Star Crossed Tattoo, 57 Granville Road, Tsim Sha

Tsui, Kowloon.
