PROJECT MANAGEMENT PORTFOLIOMATT AMJADs

I am very appreciative of your time and hope you enjoy my portfolio.HELLO

About MeIm a motivated expert with over ten years of IT practice with substantial period focused in Project Management, Strategic Planning, Finance, Security and Network Infrastructure Management, System Administration.

Today I am seeking an opportunity to come aboard with your company as a Project Manager. I hope as you view my portfolio, you will see why I should be your selected candidate.

My Education and TrainingIn 2017 I will complete my Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University. I obtained my Bachelors in Business Administration in 2007 at Newport Institute of Communication & Economics. My most recent training consists of: Project Management Training Certificate from Stanford University Agile Transformation at AMEX, NY in February 2012

A set of diverse companies Ive successfully delivered complex, multi-phased technology projects, managed onshore & offshore teams, budgets and schedules.Career History

My Career Portfolio Wipro

COMCASTWorking for Comcast has given me a great opportunity to showcase my skillset. Im currently managing several multi-million dollar efforts and managing and collaborating with a diverse group of resources and stakeholders to deliver the solution with the least amount of risk as possible.

For one project, we are implementing a $2.5MM multi-phased risk fabric infrastructure expansion effort which will replace current production servers and deploy a new mirroring server/ cluster solution. The second phase, consists of decomming the existing production servers and other devices and creating a QA/DEV environment utilizing the staging servers.

The company is also implementing a $3MM threat vulnerability management (TVM) solution to help identify all existing perimeter network vulnerabilities. This includes creating a TVM policy which defines the future process on how to manage new issues and also allow the proper remediation procedure to be performed for the current list of vulnerabilities.

Directing resource project activities, conducting reviews, managing risk, addressing issues with the project team are part of my tasks.

Comcast DashboardProviding dashboard updates and communicating statuses to executive management is crucial for me to keep the project moving forward.

SephoraWhile working at Sephora, I managed projects ranging from designing and implementing a high availability replication solution for production and disaster recovery to uniting with our partner, Infocrossing, an IT Infrastructure Management solution company which delivers a one of kind, Enterprise Delivery Model that manages clients daily operations, to implement a new AS400 replication solution.

One of the largest projects I managed consisted of overseeing 10 resources and our scope was to implement a solution which would resolve the lack of replication or disaster recovery solution for the then current AS400 solution. We deployed a customized IBM iTera availability solution. This ensured the production environment was backed up in real-time creating a true disaster recovery/business continuity solution. The solution also consisted of the team installing six AS400 systems at two Datacenters (Tempe and Omaha) after the final design was approved and tested.

Keeping project schedules up to date is just one of the many ways that I am able to provide the best status on projects.

CorningWhile working at Corning as a Program and Project manager, I learned to managed the stress of the additional workload can cause a person to incur by utilizing my organizational skills. Prioritizing my tasks and collaborating with my resources, helped to create a cohesiveness which enabled us to successfully implement several network security solutions.

Program managed multi-million dollar security effort comprising of Privileged Access Management, Public Key Infrastructure and Threat and Vulnerability crosswise over EMEA, NA and APAC areas.Program managed security data warehouse effort to update current version of security due to data warehouse having undergone multiple technology changes, including providing daily deployment report

Tracking projects for Corning, I utilized this dashboard to provide a quick snapshot to executive level management of the program that I managed from August 2013 to December 2014.

As a Program Manager I worked with the network and architectural teams to create a new network design for the new Data Center in their Kings Mountain location. This helped to prevent road blocks during the tollgate process.

My Career Portfolio Fujitsu - Mizuho Bank

Fujitsu - Mizuho Bank Managing Agile network projects is completely different than managing those within a waterfall methodology. During my tenure at Fujitsu proactive is the key to a successful scrum/Agile project. I was tasked with making sure the scheduling and budgeting were completed for each iteration to stay on track with costs. Collaborating with the development teams and other resources, we focused only on designing , building and testing only what was necessary to meet the customers requirements for the agreed upon date, utilizing user stories.

Two of the most noteworthy efforts that I effectively oversaw for Mizuho Bank was an expansive scaled foundation redesign on Citrix - their server, desktop & application virtualization software - and a two phased SharePoint migration. The SharePoint migrated from version 3.0 to 2010 and the second phase upgraded from version 2010 to version 2013.

My Career Portfolio Ingram Micro

Ingram MicroThe opportunity of working at Ingram Micro which is the worlds largest wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain services tremendous. I was in charge of managing multiple network implementations technologies such as VMware, Netapp, Symantec and Cisco products.I monitored each project and provided health status and key milestones. My daily responsibilities consisted of planning, managing human resources, controlling and reporting and maintaining appropriate documentation.

Engaging my peers and executive management while overseeing audit sessions, I was able to deliver the appropriate statuses by getting to the nuts and bolts of each project. As a result, the team as a whole was able meet our annual technology compliance and regulatory standards goals.

Recognized for tackling challenging issues and delivering innovative solutions which enhanced system functionality and end-user productivityDelivered projects utilizing Agile methodology within time & cost parametersWell-versed with analyzing organizational security needs, software/hardware installation and other servicesExceptional work ethic, routinely use available time to solve organizational problems; multi-tasking and timely completion of all assignmentsRecognition & Awards
