Compatibility Matrix Desktop Compatibility Matrix 8 is compatible with the latest browser versions supported by mainstream operating systems. Operating systems and browsers such as Windows XP, Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 8 and 9 (IE8, IE9) are no longer in mainstream support. Anyone using a previous version of these browsers will see a warning at login to encourage upgrading. Browser-related issues that can’t be resolved by upgrading to the latest version will be reviewed and resolved on a priority and best-effort basis. CoreLogic will support upgrades to browsers as soon as reasonably practical following availability of the new browser version in new retail computers. Desktop users who choose to use Internet Explorer (IE) on Windows 7 and Windows 8 can upgrade to IE11. Windows 10 users can use IE11 or Edge Browser. Firefox and Chrome automatically update to their most recent versions regardless of underlying operating system. Matrix supports the following desktop browsers:

• Internet Explorer 11 and Edge Browser • And the most recent versions of:

o Safari o Chrome o Firefox o Android Browser o Chrome Mobile o Safari Mobile

Matrix Mobile Compatibility iPad and Android tablet users should install the most recent version of their browser. Matrix Mobile supports the following browsers:

• iOS Safari • iOS Chrome • Android Browser • Android Chrome

Defects reported against other mobile platforms will be fixed on a best-effort basis.

New Features Modernized Email Layout Matrix 8.4 features a more modern-looking and mobile-friendly email layout. Some of the updated email presentation will be immediately noticeable following the 8.4 upgrade, while other aspects require post-upgrade configuration. These tasks should be coordinated to deliver all the email enhancements at one time, if possible.

Enhancements to Matrix emails in 8.4 include:

1. Email Wrapper – Provides outer border and padding to all email messages sent from Matrix. a. This enhancement comes with the upgrade and no additional configuration is necessary.

2. Consistent Typeface – A more modern font is used throughout all emails, although agents’ email signatures may still use custom fonts.

a. This enhancement comes with the upgrade and requires no configuration, except the listing display embedded within Auto Emails.

3. Mobile-Optimized Listing Details – A new display template provides a modern look and takes advantage of mobile-responsive features to ensure elegant email display on screens of all sizes. .

4. Calls To Action – Links to the Client Portal are more prominent. 5. Subtle Footer – All email messages sent from Matrix now contain a footer with the MLS footnote,

unsubscribe link, and copyright. a. This enhancement uses pre-configured values and no additional configuration is

necessary. 6. Friendly Unsubscribe Link – Prior versions of Matrix could display the unsubscribe link as either a

URL or a “friendly link” with a label like, “Click here to unsubscribe.” As of 8.4, Matrix supports only the friendly link and no configuration is necessary.

Sort Order Indicators Added to Search Result Headers Single-line search results now display arrows in the column headers to indicate the sort order.

• The weight of the arrow (bold, semi-bold, or not bold) indicates the field's sort priority (primary, secondary, or tertiary).

• A down arrow indicates an alphabetical sort / smallest value first. • An up arrow indicates a reverse-alphabetical sort / largest value first.

In the example below, the search results are first sorted by Type (alphabetical), then by Status (reverse-alphabetical), and then by Price (smallest value first).

Add/Edit - New Map Location Warning In Add/Edit, an alert indicates if the geocoder can’t find a precise location for the listing address, prompting the user to check the address and/or manually place the map pin.

“Select All” and “Select None” options added to Status Search Control • Select All – selects all check boxes and populates predefined date ranges (e.g.: 1-180) • Select None - clears all check boxes and date ranges.

Map Utilizes Full Width of Browser The map in the search results screen now extends the full width of the browser.

Map and Results Tabs Navigation added to Concierge Approvals Screen Users can now view listings on a map on the Concierge Approval screen.

Search the Intersection of multiple Map Shapes When multiple map shapes are drawn, the option to search just the intersection of those shapes is available. This is especially beneficial when paired with the INRIX Drive Time to locate listings within proximity of two different locations.

Single-Line Displays remember vertical scroll position For single-line displays longer than one screen, Matrix now remembers the vertical scroll position when switching between displays. This eliminates the need to scroll back down to the desired row. The position is maintained when clicking the browser back button and when clicking the Single Line Display link.

New Search Results Button Bar and Paging Controls The action tools at the bottom of Results pages have been updated to a more modern look, and the paging controls at the bottom of Results pages are now larger and thus easier to click.

New icons throughout Search module New and larger map drawing tool icons have been added, and many icons elsewhere in the Search and Input modules have been updated for a cleaner appearance. Additionally, the per-field Help icon on search and input forms has been moved to the right of each field.

New Tooltips Tooltips shown when hovering over an element now appear immediately and are easier to read.

New Footer The layout and appearance of the global footer has been updated.

“Refresh” option added to My Listings Widget on Home Page

Day Control added to INRIX Drive Time™ A Day selector has been added to INRIX Drive Time allowing users to specify the day of the week used to determine drive time to or from a target location. This provides insight on how drive times vary from day to day.
