The 12th edition of the Blan-kets and Wine Festival went down at the Uganda Museum grounds on Sunday. It was all about fashion, more Tusker Malt (as sponsors) than wine and performances by Sitenda, Sandra Suubi, reggae legend Maddox and South African band Uhuru. Veteran Maddox had the crowd singing along to his time-less hits like Namagembe and Nakatudde while Uhuru worked the crowd with Y-tjukutja and Khona plus samples of other artistes’ songs.

Maddox live: His music sounds fresh everytime he performs.

whisky, she had no time

for wine.

Burning it up: She “imported” her shisha to the event.
