• For students who are not prepared to achieve success in higher level courses or are planning a career that does not require higher level math or science
• In a student’s third year of high school, they can elect not to meet the Algebra II or Mathematics III requirement
• Available to the Classes of 2014 through 2019 (unless a new law extends it)
Substitute Points
Allows students to replace state end of course exam with:
Advanced Placement International Baccalaureate Course Grade from any other
advance standing program
Science, American History, and American Government exams only

Test Item Release State Test questions and the corresponding
answers shall become public record as follows:
40% on July 31st following the assessment; 20% on July 31st one year after the
assessment; Remaining 40% on July 31st two years after
the assessment.
The entire assessment shall become a public record within three years of its administration.
