DEDERICK NAMED PAC-12 GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEKJust one week into the new year Cougars’ goalkeeper, redshirt-junior Ella Dederick, has been recognized for her play on the field as the WSU captain took home the first Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week award as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning...The weekly award was the second career award for Dederick who also won the award as a freshman...Facing off against the reigning Big 10 champions, Dederick not only stymied the opposition’s attack for 90 minutes of regulation, but tacked on an extra 20 minutes of overtime action for good measure...In all, Dederick faced 14 shots while making three saves to post her first shutout of the season and eighth of her career.
