    Guard House – please proceed for reporting.

    Required PPE when visiting the factory: high visibility vest (available at the Guard House), ‘closed-toe’ and ‘closed-back’ footwear, hearing and eye protection (available at the Guard House).

    Evacuation proceduresON SOUNDING OF THE ALERT TONE – “BEEP...BEEP...BEEP”

    Be aware of a possible emergency situation occurring. (DO NOT EVACUATE ON THIS TONE).

    Prepare for a possible evacuation and follow work Shutdown procedures. Secure your area (lock away confidential files, etc).

    If an actual fire, commence evacuation of your floor and report this immediately to the Chief Warden/Floor Warden.

    Attempt to extinguish the fire, if safe and if trained to do so.

    ON SOUNDING OF THE EVACUATION TONE – “WHOOP...WHOOP...WHOOP...”

    Wardens will order an evacuation of the floor.

    Evacuate the building via the designated fire/emergency exit and proceed to the assembly area. DO NOT USE THE LIFTS.

    Proceed to your External Assembly Area. (Refer site plan)

    Do not re-enter the building until advised by the Chief Warden and/or the emergency services.

    AT THE ASSEMBLY AREA

    Account for people from the building.

    Report any person missing to the Fire Brigade/responding authorities.

    DO NOT re-enter the building until the ‘All Clear’ is given by the responding Emergency Services.

    AccessParticipants are to meet at the Powerlink reception to collect access passes. Trevor Jacobs will collect and escort the group to and from the McKorkel room.
