Richard Harvey

During training in otolaryngology (Ear Nose & Throat Surgery), Richard identified a growing need to provide more specialised care for those people with nose, sinus, allergy, and skull base conditions. Much of the medical field had subspecialised allowing some doctors to provide their patients with a greater knowledge and care in particular fields that was not offered by standard training alone. Few doctors, however, had travelled abroad to gain a greater knowledge of rhinology/endoscopic surgery (nose, sinus, allergy and skull base). Sydney is fortunate to have specialists in ears, voice, and head & neck surgery. Richard is the only dual fellowship trained rhinologist in Australia. As one of the two US trained Rhinologists in Sydney (specialists in nose, sinus, allergy, skull base and endoscopic surgery), Richard hopes to bring the research, knowledge and clinical skills from his time working in the UK, Sao Paulo and the US to Sydney ENT Clinic. Additionally, he has an active academic and research program with St Vincent’s Hospital, the University of New South Wales, and Macquarie University, which allows continued collaboration with international groups and ensures that we remain on the forefront of new technologies, treatments options, and techniques.

Stephen Floreani is based in Adelaide, South Australia. Steve conducted a 12 month post-fellowship training in advanced sinonasal surgery in 2002, under Professor PJ Wor-mald in Adelaide. In 2003, he undertook an open structure rhinoplasty fellowship in the UK under Drs. Tim Leontsinis and Simon Watts. His clinical practice is currently focussed on sub-specialty interests in the fields of sinonasal / endoscopic skullbase and rhinoplasty surgery (functional and cosmetic). Dr. Floreani holds current appointments at the Royal Adelaide, Queen Elizabeth and Womens and Childrens Hospitals as a visiting medical specialist, being heavily involved with ENT registrar training in these hospitals as well as the SA regional chairman of registrar training. He is regularly an enthusiastic contribu-tor on the faculty of local, national and international courses and meetings, teaching sinus/skullbase as well as rhinoplasty surgery.

Stephen Floreani

Additionally, Dr Gerarchi is one of only a handful of surgeons in Australia who is Board Exam Certified with the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
