Globally, we face the challenge of the lack of experienced systems and project management personnel inthe conceptualisation, planning and implementation of complex systems and products. Singapore isrenowned for its large scale systems engineering and project management leadership through thesuccessful implementation of innovative and complex engineering‐intensive systems. By leveraging uponits experience and reputation, Singapore is well placed to groom systems and project management

its experience and reputation, Singapore is well placed to groom systems and project managementprofessional to meet the demands of the industries, businesses and government.
For Whom
The programme is designed to meet the needs of senior engineers and managers who are currentlyworking in planning, developing, acquiring, and implementing complex products and systems. Thisprogramme is also suitable for engineering graduates who wish to convert to a career in systemsdevelopment and project management.
Programme Structure
The programme is conducted on a semester basis. Students in this programme have to complete 30 AUsby either:1) completing four core and any four elective courses and submitting a research‐based dissertation within
the period of candidature; or 2) completing four core and any five elective courses and submitting an Independent Study report within
the period of candidature.
Courses of Study
• Each course is covered in 13 lecture sessions of 3 hours each. • Classes are usually held in the evenings on weekdays. • Students earn AUs by successfully completing written assignments, class projects and finalexaminations.
