Master Yu said, other than the form and stance, she would also show us how to applythose forms and stances in practical combat later on. Lucky for us, she has alsoprepared some interesting demonstrations for us.OK, lets get down to business.

First of all, Master Fai will show us the horse-riding stance, also called the sheep-clamping stance. He would like Lin and Wilson to move him by pushing him throughhis hand as hard as they can.Sure, thats easy. Ouch, thats very hard. Wilson, come give me a hand. Wow, thats incredibly hard.You know what; I think you are both too weak.Sure, if you dont believe us, maybe we can invite a volunteer from the audience tohave a go. Any volunteers?

What about that guy over there? He looks pretty strong!Welcome on the stage, and thanks for coming up to challenge Lin and Wilson... Anyone else?

The secret is the stance. The principle behind is simple; those forces were transferredto the foot and to the floor through the whole body and the special stance. In facteach jockey has to go through this training.

So inches punch is a special punching technique, which literally performed withininches (0 6 in). In fact, Bruce Lee was specialised in this technique.

Master said that some of these hand-forms could be used in combination with oneanother. Like Man Sau(Seeking Hand) & Bong Sau(Wing-Arc Hand). Please have a try.

The more interesting part comes. So our fellows team A and B will follow theinstructions from the Master, they will demonstrate the three specific techniques themaster just taught us tonight. The masters will be the judges and see which teamperforms better in the two out of three demonstrations.So the three techniques in orders are: Sheep clamping stance, Upright Fist Punch, LeftMan Sau and Right Bong Sau. Its almost the end of the Wing Chun section. Yet, I know our master still has one moresecret show for us. Shhhhh!!! The wooden dummy! Do you want to see the woodendummy live? lets welcome our master Fai. Here is a brief introduction of the wooden dummy. The wooden dummy is recognised

as the highest skill in Wing Chun. In fact, the practice of the wooden dummy is takenas an auxiliary measure for the training of the Wing Chun forms. One could practisethe skill of all forms in the wooden dummy and also, the wooden dummy is just likeyour opponent.

Master thinks we all did very well tonight, and as an encouragement he willdemonstrate wooden dummy practising. To add more to the challenge, he wouldperform with eyes blind-folded.What? Are you serious? No sight? Purely by feeling?Impossible! I bet the audience cant wait to see this exciting demonstration. Alright, music on. Lets enjoy the performance .
