ADFI6400 Financial ManagementPrerequisite: ADCO6000Financial mathematics. Investment choices. Socially responsible investments. Optimum fi nancial structures and capital costs. Dividend policy. Evaluation of fi nancial securities. Financial ethics and governance.

ADGO6431 Operations ManagementPrinciples and methods of operations management, in particular, as they relate to quality control and productivity, forecasting, capacity planning and operations such as management of supplies and stock. Use of various analytical models in the resolution of operations management problems.

ADGO6441 Data Analysis in BusinessPrerequisites: STAT2633 or STAT2653 or STAT2603Command of various methods of analysis of administrative data. The nature of data and measurement scales. Parametric and non-parametric hypothesis tests. Analysis of correlation. Analysis of variances. Simple and multiple linear regression. Decision-making theory: the decision tree.

ADMK6311 MarketingConceptual study of the functions of marketing in relation to resources, ethical and social issues, the objectives and appropriate strategies needed to gear the business towards the potential for profi t within a dynamic environment. Psycho-sociological and quantitative approaches will be used to analyze various marketing problems.

ADMN6211 ManagementCritical analysis of administrative theory and practice in organizations. Study of management functions in relation to the organizational environment and resources. Discussion of recent management problems pertaining to ethical issues and social responsibility.

ADMN6212 Strategic ManagementPrerequisites: ADMN6211, ADMK6311, ECON6231 and ADFI6400Study of business administration from a senior management perspective. Formulation and management of policies and programs. Evaluation of strategic replacement solutions and decision-making. Ethical considerations in corporate governance, existing multiple interrelations between business management and governance.

ADSI6601 Management Information SystemsStudy and overview of management information systems used in decision-making. Computer hardware and software. Ethics and social responsibility pertaining to the acquisition and use of data, hardware and software for information systems. Use of management software in the laboratory.

• Applicants without a university degree or who do not meet university requirements, but have at least ten years management experience may be considered

Elective Courses (18 credits)All students must choose 18 credits from the list of elective courses. The Faculty of Administration, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Offi ce, will provide the courses requested based on the students’ needs and professor availability.

Please note that six (6) university credits in French as a second language (or equivalent) are required to obtain the diploma, in addition to the 45 credits of the MBA program.
