The Second Collection for the weekend of April 29th
will be for Catholic Charities. WHY support Catholic Charities? Through your support, we reach 1-in-12 individuals statewide. And, we spend your gift wisely. Ninety-two cents of every dollar goes back into programs and services. And we don’t sell or share our donor information with anyone. Together, YOU help us build healthy families, teach self-sufficiency and help individuals move from despair to hope. Please prayerfully consider making a gift. You can make a one-time gift, a pledge or become a monthly sustaining donor. Every contribution makes a difference, and your gift stays right here in New Hampshire.
There is no Second Collection for the weekend of
May 6th.
Thank you for your generosity!

God wants to work a miracle in our lives. All we need
to do is show up.
The 26th Annual "STAMP OUT HUNGER" Letter carriers Food drive will take place on Saturday, May 12th. St. Vincent DePaul receives a substantial amount of our food
donations from this drive. Please place a bag or bags of nonperishable food
items out for your letter carrier. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
As our year comes to an end, the
Faith Formation Office would like
to thank our 40 Volunteer
Catechists for answering the call to
serve Christ by teaching our
younger cherubs and our teen
cherubs the most beautiful truths of
our Catholic faith. We thank you
for giving of your talents and your
time; a combined total of over
1,500 hours! We offer thanks to the
Lord for the blessings we’ve shared
this past year. When noise levels grew and peace
seemed far away, we knew our Lord was with us,
helping us to remain calm. When our classes and
parties were bubbling with song, dance and laughter
and exploding with joy, Our Lord was there in the midst
of the enthusiasm and when we joined together in
prayer He embraced us with His love. Our Catechists
have tried to teach as Jesus did and to love as Jesus
loves. They have responded to the call to share the
Word of God and we are blessed to have them and look
forward to continued joy in the ministry of Life Long
Faith Formation with them and with our families.
Keeping all of you in prayer during the Spring and
Summer seasons, Sherry and Chris ☺

“God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him.” ~1 John 4:9
Dear Parishioners,
Bishop Libasci has asked that our Diocese restore the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation to its original place,
before the celebration of 1st Eucharist and to make lifelong faith formation a priority within our parish communities.
Please read the announcement below from the Diocese, and if you have any further questions or concerns please the
Faith Formation Office. Have a blessed week, Fr. Gary
“The three sacraments of initiation lay the foundations of every Christian life.” (CCC 1212)
Through the waters of Baptism, we are incorporated into the Body of Christ through the Spirit. We die to sin and
become new creations in Christ. Confirmation is a special outpouring and strengthening of the Holy Spirit. This sac-
rament permanently seals us to Jesus Christ. Through the sacrament of the Eucharist we receive Christ, Body, Soul,
and Divinity, in the bread and wine. In the early church, people were initiated into the community at one single
event. They were baptized, anointed with chrism and shared in the Eucharist. The sacraments, over time, have been
separated from one another and this happened for a variety of reasons. The Second Vatican Council asked the
Church to make it more clear that Confirmation is intimately connected with Baptism and the whole of Christian
initiation. This also helps us to see that Eucharist completes our initiation into the Church and unites us as one body
in Christ.

Below are just a couple of the CD titles available in our Lighthouse Media Collection:
The Forgotten Virtue: Pathway to Holiness God opposes the proud but bestows favor on the humble. (1 Peter 5:5) In this revealing talk, Fr. Casey shares how wisdom and blessings come through a healthy cultivation of the virtue of humility, and he equips us to be vigilant in avoiding that often subtle temptation and danger to the soul, which is pride. He shows how humility allows us to see things, and ourselves, as they truly are, and how pride makes us prone to serious mistakes, both in our spiritual and practical lives. At the end of this presentation is a bonus segment from Confession by Fr. Larry Richards. Praying the Rosary Like Never Before Dr. Edward Sri is a nationally sought Catholic speaker who appears regularly on EWTN, and is a founding leader of FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). In this discussion of his book "The New Rosary in Scripture: Biblical Insights on Praying the Twenty Mysteries" (Servant Books), Dr. Sri shares John Paul II's practical strategies for praying the Rosary better, so that you can encounter Jesus more deeply in prayer. We kindly ask for a donation of $4.00 per book (or otherwise specified suggested donation), $3.00 per CD, $2.00 per booklet and $0.50 per pamphlet so that we may continue this program. Please make all checks out to “OLMM.” Won’t you reach out and help bring someone home?
