Faith Formation: Faith Formation takes many forms at St Michael Church – from RCIA to Sacrament Preparation to Parish School of Religion and much more. For the month of Au-gust, please take time daily to pray for guidance as we prepare the programs for the next year using the following prayer (or one of your own choosing):

Dear Jesus, May we be faithful to the call to be your disciples, rooted in your Word, and open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. May we use these gifts, especially the gifts of faith, hope, and love, to serve the St Michael Faith Community as a witness to you, who are love and life the source of love for all families. Let your Spirit enlighten our minds and strengthen our hearts so that we can be a path of Christ’s love to families, espe-cially as we prepare for the upcoming year of Faith Formation. Through the intercession of Mary and Joseph, we pray for the Church, the Bride of Christ, whose mission to build a civilization of love through the family. Amen.

IMPORTANT REMINDER On Sunday, September 17th we will have only ONE Mass at 10:00 am. Followed by our Parish Picnic from Noon to 3 pm. in our Parish Hall. It is also Catechetical Sunday and we will be speaking about the Reli-

The Good Samaritan Center is asking for donations of Ramen Noodles for the month of September.
