Mascot Election – May 7th

Dear VoterAs you know I have been a Birtley resident for many years and you can often see some of my squirrel mates bouncing along the

walls of your playground. If I’m elected to the post of Chief Mascot I will try to ensure these things happen in school:

Sammy’s Manifesto

• Rounders at playtimes on the school field (led by me)once a month

• Chocolate-scented stickers for six of the most polite pupils in each class each month

• Use of our Wii at break-times each month, for the hardest working pupils in each class

• Cake and biscuit ‘tuck-shop’ each month• Custard pie in the face of a teacher/teaching

assistant – to be delivered by top pupil of the year

Sammy’s Manifesto

• More visitors to school like the Roman Soldier, Anglo-Saxon Warrior, Hera

• Cinema night – Paddington Bear• Signed photos for all who vote for me• I will visit Thursday song practices and play

drums and dance whilst you practice songs

• These are just a few of the many promises I intend to make. If the online opinion polls go against me I may have to make a few more, or do a U-turn to get your vote.
