THE ARTIST:
ON THE ART OF MAKE-UP“Being a make-up artist is like being a magician!”
CREATIVE INFLUENCE“Inspiration comes from anything. Always walk with your eyes and mind opento new experiences.”
FAVOURITE FEATURE“Eye brows make or break your look. Brows add to the expression of your eyes and frame your eye shadow. Take the time to perfect them and you’ll see the difference.”
MOST IMPORTANT TOOL“Choice! Decision-making is a fundamental part of doing make up. Determining instantly how the color/texture will relate to one another on the skin is the pillar of all good make up”
Make up is all about individuality and one’s
freedom of expression There are no rules or boundaries, just
endless possibilities.
to express yourself; It’s a fickle accessory that every woman is drawn to. It’s about not being afraid to take chances or to colour
outside the lines.
Makeup is the best way
Make up artistry is about always being able to evolve
your style, your technique and your eye. True success comes when you are open to change
and aware of the world around you.

Lips and eyebrows. I see a 50s infl uence in how people are doing their makeup, meaning they are defi ning everything and getting a really polished look! Lips are bright, brows are defi ned and eyes are lined. People are playing with strong lip colour ranging from reds and pinks to oranges. Loving all of it.
