It is truly just
to proclaim you
Blessed, O
Mother of God,
who are most
blessed, all pure,
and Mother of
our God.
For over 200 years, our mission
has been to welcome all who
come and invite them to live the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. Staffed
by Franciscan priests and
brothers of the Order of Friars
Minor (OFM) of Santa Barbara
Province, our hope is that you will
find our parish a place of
welcome, peace and friendship.

Family Prayer for a New Year
O God our Father, by the light of the Holy Spirit, lead us to be thankful for the gift of faith. May we grow in our relationship with Jesus, your Son. May we be confident witnesses to Christian hope
and joy to all we meet. We ask this in the name of
Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
"God sent the Spirit of
his Son into our hearts,
crying out,
“Abba, Father!”
So you are no longer
a slave but a son,
and if a son
then also an heir,
through God.“Galatians: 4:6-7
FST is a Roman Catholic graduate
theological school, owned and operated by
the Province of Saint Barbara of the Order
of Friars Minor. Rooted in 800 years of
Franciscan tradition, FST students and
alumni provide for the poor; they promote
social justice; they care for the suffering in
homes and hospitals; they console the
dying; they provide comfort to the
neglected in community centers; they
teach, they celebrate the sacraments in our
parishes; they are – in the spirit of Clare
and Francis of Assisi –
Christian witnesses in the world.
