Residency Description: Work in several designated ARcare Federally Qualified Health Centers
(FQHC) with an interdisciplinary team with a clinical focus on disease
state management to improve patient outcomes and safety. Design a
research project and present results at a regional meeting, which included
provision and documentation of clinical pharmacy services and patient
outcomes associated with chronic disease states for the ARcare Patient
Safety and Clinical Pharmacy National Collaborative Team (PSPC). Train
a staff pharmacist for sustainability of the PSPC program participation,
and create a business plan to integrate sustainable clinical pharmacy
services into ARcare. Provide Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
services to qualified patients at partnered retail pharmacies with active
340B accounts with ARcare. Develop and implement experiential
education rotations designed for student pharmacists, both introductory
and advanced, to learn about clinical pharmacy services with patients in a
community ambulatory care setting. Serve as an instructor for Harding
University College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice, as well
as participate with Dr. Dan Moore’s patient rounds weekly at White
County Hospital.
