Each analysis consists of three steps:

1st step: survey
Survey of all EU MS (literature, telephone survey) regarding the selected CSR policy issue
• Characterize different policy instruments and approaches• Derive a typology of different policy approaches• Get a first idea about success factors and challenges• Identify interesting or good practice cases

2nd step: case studies
Analyse 3-4 interesting or good practice cases identified in the survey phase:
• Highlight relevant obstacles, drivers and success factors
• Facilitate an in-depth discussion of different approaches
• Facilitate the discussion on policy transfer and coherence among MS
