Welcome to East West Academy’s BaZi Chinese Destiny Astrology certification training program. Join us to understand yourself and make empowered choices by studying BaZi, the 4 Pillars.

Astrology is a tool to transforming your life, creating destiny from fate.

The ancient Chinese metaphysical discipline of BaZi explores the many factors that subtly influence your path through life. From personal-ity analysis to investments, strategic planning to personal relationships, your BaZi chart lays out your potential before you. It’s a map that shows you your strengths, virtues, and limitations - and therefore helps you anticipate and turn key life events into positive outcomes - BaZi also supplements and supports the practice of Feng Shui and Date Selection. COURSE OBJECTIVES

In this course you will learn the core principles, theories, fundamentals, analysis and application of BaZi—Chinese Destiny Astrology. Turn your knowledge of your strengths and weaknesses into a powerful strategic advantage. Make informed decisions and remove obstacles through the insights gained from BaZi.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This 4-day course will teach you to create and interpret charts for character analysis, personality strengths, health, relationships, and wealth timing. Integrate BaZi knowledge into your Feng Shui practice, and develop a thorough understanding of BaZi princi-ples. Learn to practice BaZi with accuracy and precision.

• Calculate and construct natal charts• Calculate and construct 10-year time cycles• Calculate annual pillar charts• Understand and interpret• Heavenly Stems• Earthly Branches• Yin and Yang Differences• Understand the qualities and profiles of the 10 Day Masters• Understand the archetypes of the 12 different branches or animal signs• How to read strength and weakness of the Five Elements • Understand the seasons and their corresponding effects• Identify and understand combinations, clashes, and harmonies within a chart• Determine the meaning of the different pillars—Introduction to the 60 Jia Zi • Determine the strength of the Day Master• Determine chart structures• Determine the useful God and elements• Understand how to interpret Void and Emptiness• Know the qualities and interactions of the five elements and how they relate to the self (the 6 Gods)• Know the qualities and attributes of the 10 Gods• Interpret the Lunar Calendar• Determine and interpret Cosmic Flow • Introduction to the various Stars: Nobleman, Guide, Virtue, Solitude, Lonely, Talent, and more • Interpret charts and Luck Cycles for relationships, health and wealth • Understand and interpret a chart in conjunction with Feng Shui • The Four Pillars for Life is part of the East West Feng Shui certification program. Completion of all three courses is required for certification.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Bring an open mind and willing heart and a commitment to yourself to learn.

No previous Feng Shui experience is necessary. Previous study of the theories of Yin and Yang and Five Elements is beneficial but not required, as is previous Feng Shui for Life course completion.

INSTRUCTOR

“I have always had a passionate curiosity about why life is the way it is. For more than 30 years I have researched philosophy, metaphysics, ancient studies, religions, and psychology — anything that addressed the question of what cosmic and earthly forces create and influence our lives, and destiny.”

Marlyna discovered Classical Feng Shui in 1995 after reading a book on Asian Metaphysics that focused on traditional teachings. What she took from that book was how the forces of time and space are interconnected, and according to Feng Shui, how our life and destiny are interdependent upon those forces. Essentially, we are all part of a greater whole; Heaven, Earth and Humanity all linked through action and reaction. Everything that Marlyna had attributed to “feeling” up until that point, the Chinese described as “Feng Shui” in the book. She’d been on to something all that time! And now, she was hooked on Feng Shui.

What started as a way to understand and improve her own life, lead Marlyna to a career as a Feng Shui consultant. She has trained with eight top Feng Shui Masters in the world, graduating with distinction from the Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics. The Academy was founded by leading Feng Shui authority and prolific author, Joey Yap, who has personally praised Marlyna’s abilities.

Marlyna’s goal: sharing the concepts and knowledge needed in homes and businesses to enhance people’s lives — to share her own awareness — in order to improve the surroundings of all. Marlyna’s particular understanding

of her clients’ needs makes her a coveted consultant for some of the biggest brands in Canada. She’s worked towards large scale success with Chevron, Re/Max, and TD Bank among others, and developers around the Lower Mainland.
