Open your Web browser and enter WWW.DAS.STATE.CT.US

Click on Food Distribution

You are now at the Marketplace

Scroll down to the Processing & Spreadsheets header and click to

open

Click on appropriate spreadsheet

Click on Spreadsheet

You are now at the Commodities Sample Spreadsheet

Save spreadsheet to your desktop

Log In To ECOS

Enter Password1Enter Password1

You will have to choose Accept after you login to ECOS for the

first time

Click on I Agree for the Rules of Behavior

Change PasswordWhen you log in to ECOS for the first time you will be

required to change your password. The “Old password” is the one you just used to log in. The new password must be

at least (8) characters long with (1) capital letter and (1) number. Your password will expire every 90 days.

Every time you login to ECOS you will have to choose Accept

Home Page Choose Reports

Choose Requisition By PCIMS Report

Run ECOS Requisition by PCIMS Report

PCIMS Report - Print and/or Save

Delivery Date into the Warehouse

Date Received at the Warehouse

• Go back to the CommoditiesSY0809 spreadsheet you saved on your desktop.

• Use the spreadsheet to determine the amount of entitlement you are spending by entering number of cases or pounds

• Print the spreadsheet to use as a guide

• Log in to ECOS and place your requests

Using your PCIMS Report and Spreadsheet

To create a Non-Processed Requisition go to Product

CatalogClick on Direct

Delivery

Choose the Product Category you want, pick the commodity(s) and add

to cart

Choose commodity & Click add to Cart

Review Choices & Click Check Out

Enter Quantities into Desired Delivery Dates & Click Continue

At this point you can Modify, Place or Cancel Requisitions

If OK, Place Requisition

Place Requisition

Requisition Placed

Choose New Product Category

To Create a Processing Requisition

Return to Product Catalog

Click on Processing Diversion

Choose commodity and Add to Cart

Review Choice

Review Choices and Check out

Choose Processor, Quantity, Desired Delivery Date & Click Continue

Select Processor from Drop-down

Recheck Your Entries If correct, Place Requisition

Click on Place Requisition

Requisition Placed

After you have placed your requests and you find that one or more needs to be amended go to My Account. Click on

Modify Requisitions

Choose the Requisition you want to modify

Make your changes
