Community Corner Hello! There are so many great happenings and events scheduled downtown for the sum- mer, and I’m excited to see and experience all the music, food and fun they have in store. Here is a list of things to look forward to: June 4-8: Human Foosball at the Park Blocks- The EUGfun! Team will be hosting lunchtime tournaments, 11:30am-1:30pm Monday - Thursday, and evening tourna- ments Monday-Friday, 4-8pm. Food, Beer and Cider will be available for purchase. June 5th: The Campbell Center is offering a free Tai Chi class held in the West Park Blocks starting next Tuesday, June 5th. Every Tues- day and Thursday morning from 9-10am. Tuesday Farmers Market, every Tues- day, 10am-3pm, East Park Blocks. Want a mellower opportunity to go get those fresh veggies and beautiful hand- crafted items? Stop by Tuesday Market! Cheers to summer fun! -Courtney Fentress Endowment Award Our wonderful Saturday Market is proud to announce our organization's selection as the winner of the 2018 Fentress Endow- ment Award presented at The Arts & Business Alliance of Eugene's BRAVA Breakfast. This award, established by Carroll D. and Harriet Fentress in 1984, is given annually to a local arts organization for exceptional work and achievement in the arts. We were selected by a committee of local artists and community leaders. The committee chose our organiza- tion to recognize the important role the mar- ket has played in our community as a venue for local artists, crafts people and performers. The Eugene Saturday Market was well repre- sented at the annual BRAVA Breakfast held at the Hult Center on June 1st. Our Board of Di- rectors and staff were present, and our Board Vice-Chair Willa Bauman accepted the award on behalf of our organization. We are hon- ored to receive this award for our community of artists as an acknowledgment of 49 years of contribution to the local arts in Eugene. Booth weights are required for pop-up booths and strongly recommended for metal pole and wooden frame booths. There are canvas booth weight bags available at the Info Booth at the low price of $10 each. They are not filled, you’ll have to do that yourself, it can be done for $5 or less at Lane Forest Products.

Holiday Market 2017 BalancesThis is a friendly reminder to anyone with

an outstanding balance from last year's Holi-day Market to make your last payment. Your 2017 balance must be paid in full by June to book a space for this year. Contact the office if you need to set up a payment plan. Holi-day Market 2018 booking is coming up fast.

Community CornerHello! There are so many great happenings

and events scheduled downtown for the sum-mer, and I’m excited to see and experience all the music, food and fun they have in store. Here is a list of things to look forward to:

June 4-8: Human Foosball at the Park Blocks- The EUGfun! Team will be hosting lunchtime tournaments, 11:30am-1:30pm Monday - Thursday, and evening tourna-ments Monday-Friday, 4-8pm. Food, Beer and Cider will be available for purchase.

June 5th: The Campbell Center is offering a free Tai Chi class held in the West Park Blocks starting next Tuesday, June 5th. Every Tues-day and Thursday morning from 9-10am.

Tuesday Farmers Market, every Tues-day, 10am-3pm, East Park Blocks. Want a mellower opportunity to go get those fresh veggies and beautiful hand-crafted items? Stop by Tuesday Market! Stay tuned for more info on Tuesday Mar-ket Family Days, starting on June 26th!

Fentress Endowment AwardOur wonderful Saturday Market is proud

to announce our organization's selection as the winner of the 2018 Fentress Endow-ment Award presented at The Arts & Business Alliance of Eugene's BRAVA Breakfast.
