The marketing program hoststhe Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up,a national sales competition thatbrings students to our campus fromacross the U.S. to compete for prizes.Our marketing students also benefitfrom technologically sophisticatedlearning environments. For example,we are one of a handful of programsnationally to use Nielsen’s proprietarysoftware and research databases inour marketing analytics courses.

Get Involved / StudentOrgsOur students are engaged. You willhave the opportunity to participate ininternships, international study,competitions, service projects andother high impact educationalexperiences that will enhance yourself-confidence while allowing you toapply and test what you have learned.Marketing students also have theopportunity to join the Blugold SalesTeam, where they can develop their

sales skills by competing at local,regional and national competitions. • 92% of our students have

You will develop leadership skills.Our students are active in theAmerican Marketing Association andPi Sigma Epsilon marketing and salesfraternity where they participate inregional and national conferences,and sales and marketing casecompetitions. Both professionalorganizations host regionalconferences on campus and haveachieved many national recognitions.In 2016, for example, the UW-EauClaire AMA chapter was named theInternational Chapter of the Year.Other organizations for marketingstudents include Beta Upsilon Sigma(BUS) and Collegiate DECA.• 71% of our students report that they
