    ROLE OF HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT AT THE TIME OF

    RECESSION A STUDY OF SIEMENS LTD.

    DESIRED AREA OF RESEARCH:

    Human Resources department role at the time of recession

    THE OBJECTIVE AND RATIONAL OF THIS STUDY IS TO:

    Study the existing functioning of human resources department

    Focus on the behavioural aspects of the employees in relation of the

    company.

    To give recommendations and suggestions to improve and come up fromthe problems which are being facing by the employer employees.

    INTRODUCTION TO THE AREA OF RESEARCH:

    Recessions means reduction of a countrys gross domestic product (GDP) for at

    least two quarters. The Human Resource Department has to focus on unpopular

    innovations during the recession as the role of HR during the recession is to save

    money to the organization. At the time of recession HR focuses on manpower

    strength, they have to take strategies initiatives to increase the productivity and to

    work on compensation.

    SCOPE OF THESIS WORK:

    The Thesis Topic Role of Human Resource Department During the

    time of Recession in Siemens Ltd. This Topic will help me a lot and

    company also that basically at the time of recession what type of act should

    an organization take at a right time.

    And to understand that what problems are facing by the organization andemployees at the time of recession.

    Justification for Choosing A Particular Research Proposal

    The thesis topic is on recession which can includes cost cutting, reductionincentives, no bonus to the employees etc. in the corporate. And according to this

    is very latest topic in the private sector and from this topic we come to know more

    about recession and what Human Department is doing recessions time.

    Other justification for choosing this topic that I had already do my Internship in

    this company (Siemens Ltd.), so I am familiar with the Human Resource

    Department and its employees and it will be easy for me to do Thesiss work with

    Siemens Ltd.
