Erick’s expertise in quantitative research include UAI, product tests, concept tests, product placement tests,

sensory tests, customer satisfaction and loyalty studies, car clinics, advertising research and new product

development. He has also been exposed to the use of different traditional and non-traditional data collection

techniques such CATI and mailed-in surveys. His qualitative experience covers Focus Group Discussions

(FGDs), In-depth interviewing (IDI) techniques and observed shopping (face to face and video).

Erick was a college professor for economics and business subjects. He was also a part of the government

service working on international trade policy and also served as Sales and Marketing Manager for several real

estate and companies engaged in the manufacture and distribution of products for the electric distribution

and renewables segment.

Erick is a BS Economics graduate of the University of the Philippines and finished his academic requirements for

the MBA program of the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business.

Erick has more than 15 years of market research experience gained from local and

leading global research agencies. His market research competencies involves the

use of different quantitative and qualitative techniques learned from projects in

various industries including FMCG, transportation, pharmaceuticals, banking and

finance, agri-business and agro-chemicals, utilities, retail trade,

telecoms and service industries.

PAUL A. SALAPANTANMarketing Director

Paul has a total of 25 years of diversified marketing and advertising experience with stints

in BP Philippines and Jardine Davies. Six years of which was as an expatriate in Indonesia

handling marketing and advertising for Castrol Indonesia. The years of marketing

immersion led to specialties in brand communications, strategic planning, and most

currently, digital marketing. Paul’s extensive experience in advertising, media and brand

marketing has honed his instinct and intuition for spotting trends and opportunities in the

marketplace. He relies on the fundamental truths that customers and their perceptions

shape how a brand should bring their products to market.

He starter his career in advertising and moved on to explore other fields such as export trade, TV production and

eventually marketing where he gained most success from. Drawing from his multi-cultural exposure since his time

studying and working abroad, and being involved in regional and global initiatives, Paul believes that connectivity has

led to accelerated assimilation of lifestyles and that the true joy of marketing is how to think globally yet act locally, to

keep ahead of the competition. Lately he has been branded as the architect of the complete road map for a leading

lubricants products.

Paul is a BS Economics graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman and also studied at the New York University.

He also took up courses in Digital Marketing to further develop expertise in this area.
