We write a portfolio of both traditional andniche products across the class, on a primary and excess of loss basis that is reinforced by a claims team recognisedthroughout the Lloyd’s market for its expertise.

John Potter BA (Hons) ACII Marine Hull, Energy & Liability ManagerJohn began his insurance career in 2002 with Marsh in itsCredit and Political Risks Department before moving to theCargo and Specie team. He moved to Axis Capital Ltd in2003 as an underwriter to help develop its Cargo and Specieportfolio. He was then given additional responsibility for the Hull, Liability and Yacht accounts in 2006. John joinedAntares to assist in developing the Marine Hull Energy, Liability, War and Terrorism portfolios. John was promoted to his current position in 2011.

Nick Lewis BA (Hons) MA Marine Liability UnderwriterNick Joined Antares in December 2013. He began his insurancecareer in 2004 at Zurich Insurance working in its Marine Liability Department. In 2009 he moved to Allianz GlobalCorporate and Speciality as a Hull and Liability Underwriter.Nick has underwritten Hull and Yachts in addition to allclasses of Marine Liability and Property. Nick is also fluent in German.

Rebecca Magee LLB (Hons) ACII Deputy Marine UnderwriterRebecca joined Antares in 2010 and was appointed DeputyMarine Underwriter in 2013. Rebecca was previously withAxis Capital Ltd where she was Underwriting Assistant to the Marine division encompassing Marine Cargo, Specie, Hull,Liability, War and Recreational Marine. In addition she had responsibility for overseeing the Yacht account.
