Following a two year design period, not only have we managed to migrate the gyro feature into our unique and compact NightRunner form factor, but we’ve managed to do so at a staggeringly affordable price tag, represent-ing significant savings over similarly specified rival products.

As well as boasting all the usual high end features found across the NightRunner range, such as multiple colour palettes, ICE™ Image Contrast Enhancement and Full Refresh Rates, the New Gyro Range incorporates Gyro Assisted Tilt Stabilization to keep your heading straight when under-way. Simply point the camera forward towards the horizon and let the Gyro keep it steady. We’ve even built in a manual trim feature so you can adjust your camera whilst on the plane if desired.

Iris’s NightRunner Thermal Cameras give boat owners and captains the confidence to navigate in safety in complete darkness, utilizing the heat radiation omitted and reflected by objects. Thermal cameras work by dis-playing differences in temperature so they work equally well in both hot and cold environments. Iris thermal cameras can detect differences in tem-perature as low as 50mK!

NightRunner enhances safety and situational awareness on the water, al-lowing you to clearly see other vessels, navigation hazards, buoys and much more. NightRunner cameras are vital in Man Over Board situations.

The IRIS390 NightRunner Solo+ features a hi-res 640x480 thermal core equiped with a 25mm lens to provide even greater detection and recog-nition ranges, built into the same low profile and stylish housing.All NightRunner cameras feature Iris’s incredible new ICE® Image Con-

trast Enhancement feature, which processes each image pixel individ-ually in order to provide digital edge enhancement in scenes of a low thermal contrast, dramatically boosting the detail in an otherwise flat image.NightRunner cameras also feature 6 reversible color palettes that make temperature differentiation easier as well as ease the light radiation when viewing cameras at night preventing screen glare.

By processing heat radiation reflected and emitted by all objects, hot or cold, to produce crisp, high resolution video images, NightSpotter displays incredibly sharp imaging in zero light conditions, viewed via the built in monitor display or on your own chart plotter or screen via the integrated video output port.

NightSpotter also now features Hot-Spot tracing, 8GB of on board Snap-Shot storage so you can save video captures for later viewing and Built in WiFi means you can easily transfer your files to a remote device.

With a resolution of 384x288 the IRIS250 boasts a 44% higher resolution than other scopes in the same category. A choice of colour palettes, all reversible, aid temperature differentiation, and a built in laser point assists others to pin point objects detected by the scope user - extremely useful in search and rescue operations.

The cameras built in screen is extremely sharp and video can be shared with others via live WiFi streaming to a cell phone or tablet, or via the cam-eras composite video output cable.

The IRIS-PoE4 uses high end buck-boost power management to facilitate IEEE802.3aF PoE operation across and extremely wide 8~40VDC input range, making it perfect for environments where input voltage may not be stable or where the required 48VDC is not available.

Simple to install and reliable, the IRIS-PoE4 features plug and play func-tionality and requires no setup. Each channel delivers up to 15W power per channel and the unit also features an additional uplink port.

The IRIS-PoE4 is extremely powerful, delivering up to 80W non isolated power depending on voltage input and temperature. The unit features 4 PoE ports, and 1 non PoE port with autosensing 10Base-T / 100Base-Tdata rates.

The IRIS-PoE1 is a compact single channel Power over Ethernet (PoE) in-jector designed and certified especially for use in marine network appli-cations.

With an Explosion-proof level of ExdIICT6, the NEW IRISE045 camera from Iris is the perfect solution for monitoring applications in extremely harsh and dangerous environments.

Milled from AIS316 Stainless Steel, the E045 housing can withstand ex-treme temperatures, exposure to oil, salt water and various other chemi-cals making it ideal for use monitoring engine rooms and decks as well as many industrial non marine applications.

The camera module itself is a SONY EXVIEW HAD II device, chosen for its excellent image reproduction and performance in low light situations. Built in automatically operated infra red LED’s switch the video output from colour to monochrome for maximum clarity at night. The camera also sup-ports Wide Dynamic Range processing, Digital Noise Reduction, Digital Demist processing and many more high end features.

With a waterproof rating of IP69, the IRISE045 could even be submerged for sub surface monitoring applications. Tthe new IRISE065 is a super-tough fixed domw style camera, certified to EXDIIBT6 / EXD II CT6/IP69K specifications, sharing many of the features of the E045. The camera is also supplied with a 4mm lens , with other op-tions available, and the camera module also features the image processing functionality of the E045.

The IRISE065 is based around the same style of ‘ball & cup’ housings as our best selling IRIS065 camera. To position the eyeball, simply loosen the fixing screws in the cup, adjust the camera as desired and lock into place. This tried and tested mechanism ensures shake-proof operation.

The camera comes supplied with an optional mounting boss, which can be used if the camera needs to be sat off from a surface, or to achieve more obtuse viewing angles.

Iris Innovations proudly announce the new IRIS8408, rugged 8 channel Network Video Recorder, with fanless operation, built in PoE LAN ports and WiFI / Cellular / GPS Options.

The IRIS8408 has been designed specially to operate in the harshest condi-tions, with wide voltage operating range, Power over Ethernet network cam-era connections and fanless cooling to reduce maintenance requirements. On top of this the unit boasts isolated IO ports and serial data connections.

The IRIS8408 comes pre-loaded with 2TB of on board storage with the capacity to add an additional 2TB. Video can be viewed live via one of the units DVI or VGA outputs, as well as across your network. By adding the optional WiFi, you can also view across your wireless LAN on a cellphone or tablet.

The IRIS8404 features adaptive Video Streaming, which detects real time network bandwidth and CPU capacity in order to manage data streaming. In depth Alarm functionality is also included, making the unit a powerful secutity system.

Introducing the new style v2 IRIS516 and IRIS595 Waterproof Joystick PTZ Controllers.

With a newly styled, low profile front bezel, higher resolution OLED dis-play and dimmable controls, the second generation controllers have been specially designed to control you Iris P{TZ cameras and Thermal Imagers.

The IRIS516 features control software for our range of daylight and IR PTZ’s (IRIS106. IRIS100, IRIS117 and IRIS118), whereas the IRIS595 con-troller is loaded with software specifically to control our NightRunner range of Thermal Imaging PTZ Cameras.

The IRIS516 transmits the Pelco D protocol over an RS485 Serial Data con-nection and can therefore be used to control third party cameras running the same protocols.

The IRIS517 Waterproof Panel Mount Joystick Controller features a ‘chunky’ 3 axis waterproof joystick for controlling IRIS117 and 118 PTZ cameras.

Two ‘Feature’ buttons, combined with the joystick are used to call 8 fea-tures of the cameras - by holding down the colour coded buttons and mov-ing the joystick to the appropriate position.

The IRIS517 transmits the Pelco D protocol over an RS485 Serial Data con-nection and can therefore be used to control third party cameras running the same protocols.

NOTE: The IRIS517 can only be used to control specific features of the IRIS117/118. For full access to all features, use the IRIS516 controller.

By combining serial data distributors, network IP hubs and switches and video switchers, its possible to control an unlimited system.

To simplify camera management and video switching you can also upload deck plans of your boat and configure these to show camera positions. To switch, simply call up your deck plan and select the desired camera icon.

The IRIS-GT8000 lets you take control of your onboard camera system, regardless of size without the need for dedicated joysticks and switcher keypads, and solves IP camera compatibility issues currently experienced with Garmin 8000 MFD’s.

With IRISNet, your customers connect directly to their boat via our Web-Por-tal or Mobile App. Once logged on they have access to any devices con-nected to their on-board LAN, including IRIS NVR / DVR’s, chart-plotters, network NMEA and OneNet devices. Not only can they connect, view and control their Iris camera systems, but they can use device Apps (such as chart-plotter Apps) as if they were actually on board the vessel!

In the past, this was only possible with a hugely expensive fixed IP address subscription and customers were tied to a specific network provider. Iris-Net works across platforms and does not require a fixed IP subscription.

Accessories

Iris provide complete solutions for on board camera systems, not just the cameras them-selves. From Serial Data Distribution units to Video Distribution Amplifiers, Iris have got everything you need to build your boat camera system

Serial Data Distributors are interfaces that let you hook up the data paths from multiple devices, such as cameras, controllers and matrix switchers and manage the communications so that the data on the network is clean and eliminates over-runs or lost data.

Whenever you have either more than one camera or more than one con-troller connected to one or more cameras, you should use a serial data distributor to handle your RS485 data communications.

Video Distribution Amplifiers (VDA’s) take in video signals, amplify them to the industry standard levels and then split the balance signal out to multiple channels to allow an image to be sent to multiple devices.

VDA’s can be used simply to take a single camera feed and split it out to a number of monitors, or they can be used to take feeds from multiple cameras and distribute the video to different devices such as digital video recorders and video matrix switchers.
