Biomimicry is determined by the movement of CP, PAP and SAP. It is the concept of mimicking nature. It has a significance to customization. The quality of the final form is reminiscent of a moving butterfly; spaces are created by its movement.

Throughout the lower part of the catchment more than 7000 native plants have been established over the past 2 years, in a number of the management units. These include:

The site plays a vital role in the overall flood management control of Oakley Creek. It also offers a wonderful opportunity for Auckland City to develop a local wetland, that could not only play a crucial part in the integrated flood management of the catchment – with minimal cost, compared to the costly engineering option.

1. Natural ventilation provide air movement through dedicated air inlets, and the heat from the afternoon sun is stored in the slab. The internal space remains at comfort level for learning and playing.
